You know i will admit i do like like the mix, it is one of the valley's nicest places to shop. I like the flow of it, but for some valley shoppers it is different and confusing. To boutique owners you have your loyal customers right!! why because you treat them well. The reason i say this is because i think the mix forgot the MEMO!! The workers at the mix are not somewhat helpful and they are RUDE... When i was there and needed some help not one employee acknowledged me at ALL! Also all there employees are mostly women who just stand there playing with there hair or just looking clueless. (what is up with that). By saying that i say this to the mix RETAIL 101, treat your customers with respect and courtesy. What is your take on the mix i would like to know.
much love,
Queen B

Unfriendly, unhelpful, vacuous hair twirlers. It's like a convention of bimbo hair twirlers. I agree with Queen B and enjoy the flow and most of the merchandise at The Mix. But give me a break. I was ignored for well over 15 minutes by at least three female employees. Distracted I'm sure by the hair twirling! They amplify the stereotype of snooty Scottsdale retail workers. How inventive to be off putting in Scottsdale. Yea. Good one.
Well Queen B, we'll have to take a trip there ourselves on Tuesday! You are more than welcome to join hello kitty..we'll show them how people should be treated!
In my opinion, the concept just BEGS for competition. Not only are you able to actually see what customers are entering which shops, you can see what they're buying in each locale. Tell me how "frustrated" you'd be if you tried to help/sell to a client for an extended period of time and they walk out of your store empty handed but then proceed to drop a wad of $$ in the store next door. I know it's reality, but in a boutique enviornment, it just breeds evilness when it's that close together.
